In the dialog of the local contrast tool, the preview works fine. But when
clicking "ok", the progress bar in the lower left corner stops at 10% and
nothing happens.

I can not reproduce exactly the bug, for me it stays a few seconds at 10% then
jumps to 90% then to 100%.
But the final picture is not the same as the preview.

Now that I checked again I see the same behaviour as Julien described - the
progress bar "waits" at 10% for some time, then jumps to the end. So probably
my computer was just too busy when I tried earlier, and that's why it took so
long. Sorry for the confusion.
I have not compared the preview and the final result in detail, they seemed to
be about the same to me.
