Which slideshow? The AdvancedSlideshow?
If so, which KIPI release do you use? I fixed a lot of problems with this
plugin.
Try KIPIplugins 0.7.0.

If you are talking about the normal slideshow, try using digiKam-1.0.0-beta4.
