What I was doing when the application crashed:
After looking at photos in Digikam I changed to Dolphin to do file operations.
Among these was also a movment of images to a new subfolder.

Digikam crashed after this.

This problem is not reproducible since 5.0.0 as all digiKam KIO-slaves was been
replaced by a multithreaded interface to play with database.
