Summary: Can't open Images in Windows Product: digikam Version: 0.10.0 Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: [hidden email] ReportedBy: [hidden email] Version: 0.10.0 (using KDE 4.3.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package I have my photos stored on my Windows ntfs Disk . I created a new album with Digikam (Kubuntu) in this Folder and imported the photos from my camera in this album. I tagged some of them. After booting Windows, i couldn't see them in the Explorer. They have the size "0 Byte". I can watch them in Dolphin and Gwenview under Linux without problems. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

--- Comment #1 from Andi Clemens <andi clemens gmx net> 2009-10-24 18:52:39 --- Well, NTFS write support is not really supported / safe under Linux I guess. Maybe you destroyed the image files, or at least made them unreadable for Windows now. I would never use OS specific filesystems under various operating systems, a fileserver or a better support FS should be the solution here. FAT32 is writable without problems under Linux.
