Summary: Thumbnails bar should have no empty space Product: digikam Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: [hidden email] ReportedBy: [hidden email] Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Installed from: Compiled From Sources It would be nice if in the preview mode of Digikam, the thumbnail bar would contain no empty space. For the time being each item in the bar is a square of side L, and each thumbnail is rescaled such that max(width, height)=L I think it would be nicer if all items had their own aspect ratio depending on the aspect ratio of the thumbnail. All thumbnails would be rescaled such that the height of the thumbnail is equal to the eight of the thumbnails bar. This means that horizontal panoramic picture would be quite big and vertical panoramas would be small. I hope model/view separation can allow this. my 2 cents, Julien -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

--- Comment #1 from Mikolaj Machowski <mikmach wp pl> 2009-06-03 17:28:57 --- Probably can but should it? With current system (which is used by all software I know) when user will move mouse it always will move the same number of pictures. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
