I suppose that color for label contains selected image name in left-bottom
corner is hard-coded. Because it looks very ugly then DLS theme is enables.

Color of text in that label should be readable for any theme.

No, it's not hard coded... It's a bug in KstatusBar from Kdelibs which don 't
take a care about palette assignement from application. It have already
reported.
