Summary: tags lost on copy via context menu Product: digikam Version: 0.9.3 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: [hidden email] ReportedBy: [hidden email] Version: 0.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.9) Compiler: gcc 4.2.3 OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I'm using tag support Digikam, tags are not stored inside the pictures (e.g. IPTC) When moving or copying images from one album to another one using Drag&Drop the tags are correctly moved or copied together with the image. But when using the context menu to copy an image, the tags are lost. How to reproduce: Open (thumbnail view) of an album, select a picture and from context menu choose "Copy". Go to another album and from context menu choose "Paste". Picture is copied but tags are not. Workaround: Use Drag&Drop only. Another workaround might be to store tags also in IPTC, but as I currently do not want to touch the pictures I didn't test that one ... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Gilles, can you confirm this? --- Comment #5 from Andi Clemens <andi clemens gmx net> 2009-07-20 13:07:45 --- I CAN'T (:-)) confirm this either. I removed XMP and IPTC, I turned off metadata writing, I used the context menu to copy and paste the image into another folder-> tag is still there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
