i want a true photo album management

an album is not a directory

for example in an album

you place photos in an order based on your aim or based on semantic data

not based on the name or date or else about the file

see Picasa : Picasa has the directory type and the album type

I'm agree with you. virtual folder from digiKam is dedicated for that. Also this subject have been already discuted in the past.
