Create a UPNP backend and it should "just work" (if Digikam was based on Akonadi). _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Where does it fit in? Gilles: One thing is to be able to view the pictures on a UPnp server. That can be done if we have client libs accessible for the protocol. The second thing is real integration of the pictures in the database. If they are uniquely identifiable from the server, I think this could not be different at all from images on a Network share? There will be difficulties if the access to the files does not go the the filesystem via the kernel but through some userspace lib. All direct access (libkexiv2, image editing, preview generation...) need direct file access and will always need that, in the basic layer. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
