Summary: wish option to open album in terminal or filemanager
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.9.3
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
ReportedBy: simon margo student utwente nl

Version:           0.9.3 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.3)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

I think it would be useful to have the option to have a terminal window or a filemanager available when doing stuff with an album.

Kate has a panel with a terminal, something like that? An external terminal window would also be just fine for me, though some people prefer a dolphin or konqueror window perhaps?

Cheers

Simon

Simon,

This entry is invalid. Just use Album/Open in Konqueror menu option...

Hmm, It's not in my 0.9.3, so either that is a new feature or something
on my end is misconfigured? I can't find a way to configure that though...

Besides, the option to open a terminal would still be a valid wish?

Cheers

Simon

Simon, you may have to go to Settings/Configure Toolbar and add the Open in Konqueror button.

Gilles, adding an Open in Terminal button would be nice, it would save me the step of loading konqueror.  That couldn't be too hard to implement, could it?
