After right clicking on a picture in digikam the Information window with the title EXIF shows some informations and seems to have trouble with special characters used in german. I am not absolut sure who is responsible for it, the digital camera or digikam, but, take a look for your own, a screenshot is available -> http://wiesel-flink.magix.net/ and LINUX
Otherwise feel free to ask me everything at any way, i try to do my best to help and describe it better.

This problem have already reproted in room since a long time...

digiKam 0.8.2 is now obsolete. digiKam 0.9.2 is out. Please update...

Note : 0.8.2 release use libexif which ahve lots of problems... 0.9.2 use libexiv2
