The crash occurred during photo browsing in editing mode. Note: the many crashes of DigiKam and Ktorrent occurred after I made a full update to Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty from 6.10 Edgy. Subsequently, several updates appeared from Ubuntu official repositories, many related to KDE desktop components, and after some of those updates (I keep PC maniacally updated ) both Ktorrent and Digikam crashes disappeared. I'm convinced it was a crash caused by some KDE library.
