You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142428 Summary: F11 as fullscreen shortcut Product: digikam Version: 0.9.0 Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org ReportedBy: chris.reiter gmx at Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu7) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-9-generic could you change the shortcut for FullScreen to "F11" like in every other KDE program? Maybe this request is invalid, I am using the Kubuntu feisty version with "Ctrl+Shift+F" - maybe that's not original KDE... _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Also, Ctrl+Shift+F is the default shorcut given by KDE API. [show rest of quote] ... [show rest of quote] You can attribute F11 to full screen with the shortcut configuration tool as a
non-standard confgiuration. Then, when digikam doesn't know which action you want to take, it asks you by giving a choice between the two. But I want to have a little bit more consistency in KDE. So, to press Ctrl-Shift-F in one and F11 in another program for Fullscreen Mode is not so good IMHO. It is a VERY important part of a Desktop Environment to be consistent... You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142428 ------- Additional Comments From lure kubuntu org 2007-03-04 21:13 ------- Digikam is fully consistent with KDE: it uses KStdAction::fullScreen to implement full screen action and this helper does use Ctrl-Shift-F as shortcut. Christian, I think your note "like every other KDE program" is not correct. Which which program did you compare it? On my system (Kubuntu Feisty), at least Konqueror uses Ctrl-Shift-F _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

My konqueror (kubuntu edgy) uses Ctrl-Shift-F AND F11 as shortcuts, digicam only Ctrl-Shift-F. both say that Ctrl-Shift-F is the default. shortcut presets are "Windows" and "KDE standard", both the same. If, as you say, the shortcut is bound to the KStdAction::fullScreen and NOT defined for each program, how can the two have different shortcuts? I hope I understood you right - I don't know much about KDE programming. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

I just saw in my own attachment that I use a custom setting for konqueror shortcut. I can't remember to have set this, but my mistake. So leave it - I think this bug is invalid then;-) _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
