using googlemaps in geolocation-pane?

Hi,

is there a possibility to show googlemaps instead of OSM in the
geolocation pane? It seems to be possible to open a browser with
googlemaps at the coordinates, but it would be great to have it directly
inside the pane like with OSM

We are working on it, it is also part of a GSOC project. More info
should be available soon !
