unison: sync two digikam instances (PC -- Laptop)

Thomas Güttler
Hi,

I sync between PC and laptop with unison. This works very good since
several years.

Up to now I use an app which uses symlinks for image tags. Unison
can sync these changes on both sides.

The sync of the sqlite files would fail, since the database files
changes on both sides.

Any change to get this done? Maybe with the help of writing the
tags to file or an extra xmp file....

Feedback welcome,

    Thomas Güttler

according to several treads I have seen here I think this is not to
recommend.
