thumnail generation error with tif photos

With digikam 1.0.0 I've found that when generating thumnail from TIF photos
almost all TIF file share the same thumnail image. I end up with a folder full
of identical thumnail but different large photos.

Is this a bug ? How can I fix this.

Other format do not show that problem

yes it is bug, and it could be related to this bug:

What did you do exactly ? did you import a bunch of tiff files with
Digikam ? or did you copy the tiff files using an external tools inside
a directory managed by Digikam ?
