thumbnails not showing

I'm running 2.9.0 on PClinucos and I don't get the thumbnails to show in the window.  I click on rebuild thumbnails and I can see them rebuilding, but they don't show, so I can't see any of my pictures.  I've tried deleting the databases (.db files) and rebuilding, but that didn't make a difference.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is any of the filters active in the RHS pane radio tab 'Filters'?

Jagdeesh,

    No filters specified and it was working a week ago.  I've had this happen in the past, never knew what the cause was.
