A simple remark, if you have automatic thumbnails generation enabled,
digikam could nearly freeze on a big file (more than 10MB on my
netbook)
It would be useful to have a user-configureable warning: if a folder
contains too many files or some big files, warn user and ask to
continue or not or process only small files.
Default could be 10MB and 5000 files after let the user change them
(as you probably don't want to implement cpu testing in digikam ;)
