Yes, the rating is stored in metadata:
>>  <rdf:Description
>>  ...
>>    xmp:Rating="2"

I don't use Adobe products (not available under Linux) so I don't know if
Bridge can read them. But if Bridge can find/read the sidecar files, it can
probably read the rating: the item is in the "xmp" namespace (provided by
Adobe...).
