[digiKam-users] Tags not writing to metadata of photo

Good day DigiKam community, 

We've encountered a problem where tags we add in DigiKam are not written to the metadata of the photos. The tags appear in DigiKam, but it is as if this info does not pull through to the original folder on the computer. 

We would appreciate some advice.
