This is a great feature which I also miss since switching from iMatch under Win...

In Imatch it is called 'light box' sort mode and is implemented as a custom sort mode, where the sort order is maintained even when switching between sort by date, name, or whatever other sort mode.

This allows a person to sort like pictures and makes it a lot easier to detect keepers and trash junk pictures.
