select a root tag when the child one is selected

Luca Ferrari
Hi all,
is there a way to force digikam to apply all the path in a tag
hierarchy to the child? Suppose you have tags parties/birthday, I
would like that each "birthday" tag also implies "parties".
Is that possible in an automatic way?

Thanks,
Luca

Hi,

Look options in contextual pop-up menu from tag tree-view.

Best

Thanks,
I found "toggle-auto => parents" that did what I want but only for new
assigned tags. Is there a way to batch process this and apply it to
the already selected tags?

Thanks,
Luca
