Hi,
I would like to be able to replay a sequence of modification steps on an image, with alterations to some of the steps. ie if I do this: White balance crop levels sharpen then decide that actually I still have to much blue cast and I want to readjust the white balance, can I do this without having to manually redo the crop level and sharpen stages? Or perhaps I decide that my image would be better with more negative space around my subject and I want to change the crop, but keep all the other steps. Perhaps my only solution is to learn to get each stage right first time :-) Iain _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Hello,

Technically you can. But you'll get better results if you do white balance before and sharpening after modifying colour, brightness, contrast and the like. > Perhaps my only solution is to learn to get each stage right first time :-) Not the only one, but probably the best and quickest. ;-) -- Andreas Ege 24 The Birches Shobdon HR6 9NG Mobile: +44.7526.315292 Phone: +44.1568.709166 Mail: [hidden email] http://spheniscid.net Am 13 Apr 2012 um 03:39 schrieb Iain Wood <[hidden email]>: > Hi, > > I would like to be able to replay a sequence of modification steps on an image, with alterations to some of the steps. ie if I do this: > > > > . > > > > Iain > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-users mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

My question is can I repeat that sequence of operations without having to set all the adjustments again. I want to be able to go back to the master copy, redo the white balance with new parameters, then redo the crop, levels and sharpen processes using the exactly the same parameters as before.
