Hello,
I just updated do Digikam 2.5.0 (KDE 4.8.1 on OpenSuse 12.1). When I open an image in editor (I selected "open editor" in preferences) it always opens a window over the full width, but only very small height and I always have to click to make it full-size. What can I do that digikam remembers the size of the editor window? Hello Daniel,
I don't know, if there is a DigiKam way to solve this, but in those cases, I use KDE's "Special Window Settings". With those you can define rules like: window of application 'digikam' AND window role 'image editor' => maximized horizontally : apply initially : Yes => maximized vertically : apply initially : Yes That's one of the reasons I love KDE! For details, have a look for example at: > http://maketecheasier.com/set-special-window-settings-with-kwin/2009/08/03 Regards, Peter On 15.03.2012 14:01, Daniel Bauer wrote: > Hello, > > I just updated do Digikam 2.5.0 (KDE 4.8.1 on OpenSuse 12.1). > > When I open an image in editor (I selected "open editor" in > preferences) it always opens a window over the full width, > but only very small height and I always have to click to > make it full-size. > > What can I do that digikam remembers the size of the editor > window? > > Thanks > > Daniel Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Problem not reproducible here. Image Editor windows size is restored
between sessions.
