The original jpg photo downloaded from camera:
dimensions: 5184x3456 size: 11.0 MiB If I load this picture into the image editor, then export to png, compression 9, I get: dimensions: 5184x3456 size: 30.7 MiB For comparison, if I open the original jpg in gimp, then export to png, compression 9, I get: dimensions: 5184x3456 size: 30.3 MiB Now, the issue I'm seeing is that if I open the original jpg and the png created with digikam into digikam's light table, both scaled to fit, the jpg is at 31% scaled and the png is at 63% scaled; however, if I add the png created with gimp into the light table it scales at the same 17% as the original image. Any ideas as to why the digikam png file is acting like it shrank? If I open all three files in gimp they all scale to the same size when at the same scale percentage. You display the IPTC preview jpeg embeded in PNG. Go to Setup LT and
turn on Load Full Image Size option... So, once I enable the "load full-sized image" light table option, the photo still seems to have a yellowish tint to it. This only seems to be visible in the light table and not in the main window or if I open the image in the image editor. Do you use color managent with eimage editor ?
Can you share your original RAW file and your generated PNG file to test in local ?
