piwigo on freehost

Hi there,

I am still trying to get it running but get during install this error:
¨Cannot connect to server¨

In fact I have no clue wath input is expected in this form annotated 006

As always hoping for your help.

I'm pretty sure that this is due to the web host not allowing outgoing
connections from their server. Thus you probably cannot use the
NetInstall method (I think that is what the box just before step 1 below
is saying)

Thus you probably need to use the manual installation method

P.S. Whilst I'm quite interested to learn about Piwigo because I hadn't
come across it before you probably should be asking these questions in
the appropriate Piwigo lists/forums. They are the experts in getting the
installation to work.

I was already in manual install. I changed my password and forgot some
submit button or something, so i had to use my old password instead.
Now it is up and running, only 2 pictures so far.

Have you gone to the Piwigo forum: http://piwigo.org/forum/ ?
They're usually very helpful and quick to answer (I used to answer quite a lot of questions, but haven't done so for some time).
