Dear Digikam Users,
How do fellow digikam users get prints of their photos (when not self-printing at home, as i do not have a printer)? I have been exporting my photos and loading them into iphoto, where i simply order prints from apple. Is there a more direct way to order prints? I'd like to hear about how other users order prints. Thank you, -- brad _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
There are numbers of printing services on the internet. Depends where you want your prints to be shipped ... as for myself - in France - I used fnac.com for ordinary prints, photobox.com for my diaries, mypix.com for a couple of printed accessories, and darqroom.com for beautiful framed prints that are in a show at the moment. When I just want a couple of "normal" print, I put the pictures on some USB or memory-car and go to a local shop.
Depending where you are in the world, just pick up your choice. Marie-Noëlle 2012/7/14 brad <[hidden email]> Dear Digikam Users, -- Mes dernières photos sont dans ma galerie. Thanks for your reply. Its always nice to hear how other users do things.
I forgot to mention that i'm in the states. I did find http://www.mpix.com and http://www.whcc.com/ although the latter seems to be geared toward professional shooters, which is definitely not me! I used to make prints at a local shop, but my favorite shop recently closed its doors.
