parallel use of linux and windows

Jan Jäger
Is there a way, to have digikam share the same database on a local
ntfs-volume when I have it installed under ubuntu 10.04 and windows
vista as well?

At the moment (using digikam 1.2) when starting digikam under windows,
it says "wrong locale - system instead of utf-8" and when I ignore this
mistake, it can't find the pictures, because the volume isn't fount.

See bug

and Tobias Kaminsky's message on digikam-devel from 19/12
