ordering of search results ... ??

[chris bayley-2]

I wish to run a slide show based on a search that pulls in photos from
several albums. BUT I would like to show all the photos in date order
regardless of which album they originate from .. is this possible with
the current svn build ???

Please believe that I did try the obvious things before asking,
View -> sort images -> Date still leaves the images arranged by album in
the search results, albeit in date order within the album. But I want to
melange photos from several albums by date order.

Ah, just like Picasa's Timeline feature. Yes, this is something that I
would like to know how to do, too.

I think this is currently not possible. This would require some deeper changes
in the IconView code. I don't dare to touch this before 0.9.0. You can file a
wish at bugs.kde.org.
