Is there an openSUSE 11.2 repo that would have lates 1.0rc candidate?
I'm subscribed to KDE:Backports and that only has digikam-0.10.0-13.7.i586 ...I'm aware that I can compile from source ;) ...but I was wondering if there's up to date rpm repo that I could use. There are three different projects for rc when searching for digikam.
And at least one of them doesn't need any other repositories. I have used that one. /Anders 2009/12/16 jdd-gmane <[hidden email]>: > Le 16/12/2009 17:40, Brano a écrit : >> Is there an openSUSE 11.2 repo that would have lates 1.0rc candidate? >> >> I'm subscribed to KDE:Backports and that only has digikam-0.10.0-13.7.i586 >> >> ...I'm aware that I can compile from source ;) ...but I was wondering if >> there's up to date rpm repo that I could use. >> >> Thanks, >> Brano > http://software.opensuse.org/search > > search for digikam, 11.2. > > there is one 1. project. but be aware than triyng it some days ago > broke my kde4 install (needs ked4 unstable) > > jdd > > -- > http://www.dodin.net > http://valerie.dodin.org > http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ > > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-users mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users > Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

I see the first "digikam", but with no version number? this one, but I fear the "unstable": http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/UNSTABLE:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.2/ this one, factory should be better for 11.3 :-(: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.2/ this one? http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/43/openSUSE_11.2/ thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

I would recommend to wait some days until digikam 1.0 will be released on the 20th. If you really want it you can get it from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/43/openSUSE_11.2/ though which is a lot safer than using the Factory or UNSTABLE repos. However the KDE43 repo will vanish soon since STABLE contains KDE 4.3.4 as well. You could also include the STABLE repos which hold the packages that will be released as official online update soon. http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/Upgrade Sven _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Digikam packages for openSUSE are now available in the Backports repo. http://software.opensuse.org/search?baseproject=openSUSE%3A11.2&p=1&q=digikam Sven _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
