Piwigo encountered a non recoverable error m mysql error 1044] Access denied for user 'xxxxxx'@'%' to database 'xxxxx_piwigopictures' Connection to server succeed, but it was impossible to connect to database #1 my_error /home/vol9/byethost4.com/xxxxxx/htdocs/piwigo/include/common.inc.php(129) #2 include_once /home/vol9/byethost4.com/xxxxxx/htdocs/piwigo/index.php(26) (user id replaced by xxx) Anybody ever seen something like this? can you enter the site? http://www.sleeplessregulus.byethost4.com/piwigo/ |

It might be a problem on the server side; can you access your database
with PhpMyAdmin? You'd rather ask any Piwigo related question on theif forum http://piwigo.org/forum (or look for a similar issue). Thanks a lot for all the responses! It helped to dig my way in the
right direction. I did some brain torture on a couple of Frech
documents, and it is a realy complicated matter.

And please, sleepless, don't start again from scratch! As I said, it might be only a temporary problem on the server, or the DB might be repaired if it is indeed broken. If you find no answer on the english Piwigo forum, I'll be happy to investigate; I'm not as involved in Piwigo as I used to be, but I haven't forgotten everything. Rinus, I belong to the Piwigo team and have helped users much less
advanced than you are. I - or any other member of the team - can have a look at your gallery at an administrator level, and see what can be done to solve your problem. A great thing about online systems is that they are ... online, so one having the required identifier/password can investigate and fix problems. And the abilities can be removed as soon as they are no longer necessary.
