mp2enc file

My digikam is telling me that I need to install mp2enc. 

I found it on the internet.  Should i install it in

/usr/local/bin because when I tried to do it it didn't let me.

have you installed mjpegtools?
acording to the console it contains the mp2enc

exerpt of my terminal... of course you can install it via Synaptic aswell.

x@x:~$ mp2enc
    The program 'mp2enc' is currently not installed.  You can install it
by typing:
    sudo apt-get install mjpegtools
    bash: mp2enc: command not found
x@x:~$ sudo apt-get install mjpegtools
...
x@x:~$ which mp2enc
/usr/bin/mp2enc
