libkmap and libkface moved to KDEReview....

Gilles Caulier-4
Hi all,

Following recommendation from Albert Astals Cid <[hidden email]> into
[hidden email], i will move today libkmap and libkface to
KDEReview for 2 weeks.

http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/kdereview/

This is the standard way to include new extragear code in KDE core. I
will post an announce into [hidden email] and
[hidden email] about code availability for review and
future inclusion to kdegraphics/libs.

You can of course continue to work on implementation to fix improve
code until source is in kdereview repository.

The goal is to include libraries into KDE core with KDE 4.7

Best

Ok, that means a few more months time before API is frozen, doesnt it?

There are some interface classes in libkface: button.h, faceitem.h,
fancyrect.h, marquee.h which are in fact no longer used or maintained, because
the code has been merged in digikam itself.

yes.

1/ until code still in kdereview, all can be do.
2/ after to move libs to kdegraphics/libs, we need to follow KDE
release plan. For the moment KDE 4.7. is not yet planed, but as KDE
4.6 is in the way...

if code no need to still in libkface, reducing lib fingerprint is fine.
