Hi please test the new tarball you can find here:
http://www.linux.it/~anaselli/kipi-plugins/ I haven't test it against exiv2 0.14 yet, so any feedbacks here are welcome. Gilles, hope we'll see on digikam# tomorrow for the release details. Good news: builds, good work. Bad news: Now all we need are new/compatible releases of kipi-plugins and digikam (latest releases both fail to build against exiv2-0.14). :( -- Rex _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Thanks for your report, I'll upload them tomorrow i believe. > Bad news: Now all we need are new/compatible releases of kipi-plugins and > digikam (latest releases both fail to build against exiv2-0.14). :( As far as i know they should need libkexiv2 not exiv2, so you should need to rebuild them after libkexiv2. Gilles? Angelo P.S. if needed i could postpone the release. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel attachment0 (196 bytes) Download Attachment |

That's incorrect. I tried against exiv2-0.14 and libkexiv2-1.1.2, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise. -- Rex _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Since Gilles seems not to be present. fyi, build.log references: http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/mock/fedora-6-i386-core-kde/digikam/ http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/mock/fedora-6-i386-core-kde/kipi-plugins/ I'd welcome the better news that I did something wrong to induce the failure. -- Rex _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Gilles don't tell me api didn't change, this mess is worst :p Anyway, you can get the first patch by using from svn under libs svn diff --old kipi-plugins/@627500 --new kipi-plugins/@627501 > kexiv2.patch Now we should decide (at least for kipi) if release a patched version or a new release. Cheers, Angelo (who doesn't release new libkexiv2 yet) _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel attachment0 (196 bytes) Download Attachment |
