Hi to all,
libkdcraw 0.1.2 is ready for testing, you can find it here: http://pub.thewally.it/kipi/libkdcraw-0.1.2.tar.bz2 http://pub.thewally.it/kipi/libkdcraw-0.1.2.tar.bz2.md5 Waiting for feedback Regards, Valerio P.S. : This announce make monday's one , on kde-imaging, outdated: version-info value has been corrected :) -- Valerio Fuoglio <[hidden email]> - http://www.valeriofuoglio.it KDE Developer - KIPI Plugins - http://www.kipi-plugins.org Ulteo Core Developer - http://www.ulteo.com _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel attachment0 (196 bytes) Download Attachment |

In the current state, when selecting "VNG" in the list box, you will in fact invoke a PPG interpolation when calling dcraw ! I have 2 fixes here : - Only fix VNG value and ignore new PPG interpolation : http://casta.nerim.net/libkdcraw-0.1.2-fix-VNG.patch OR - Fix VNG interpolation value and introduce PPG in the widget : http://casta.nerim.net/libkdcraw-0.1.2-add-PPG.patch The two solutions works for me (test with digikam 0.9.2) Thanks for your work :) Guillaume -- Guillaume Castagnino [hidden email] / [hidden email] GnuPG/PGP key : http://wwwkeys.pgp.net:11371/pks/lookup?op=vindex&search=0x8AF468AF Fingerprint : CD52 FE40 9592 BA1E E89D 5FB6 820E 4742 8AF4 68AF _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Thanks Guillaume for your feedback.
Both patches break binary compatibilty of library. I will use the the second patch to introduce the changes in widget. Take a care Angello. BC is now broken duing a change in rawdecodingsettings.h file. Hosts applications witch use library need to be re-compiled... Gilles 2007/8/20, Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]>: Ok Angelo, i will take a look in this patches. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
Angelo, Valerio,
Code is fixed on svn into KDE3 and KDE4 branch. You can rebuild new tarball of libkdcraw to release 0.1.2... Ok I'm back, I'll take a look at it (since i need to check the binary compatibility breakage) a soon. Two things though, the first is concerning icon files are they needed? The latter is po files, again do we need localization for the library? Angelo,
Guillaume has just sent to me another patch to solve this B.K.O entry : http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148561 I would apply the patch on svn before to release libkdcraw 0.1.2. Fine for you ? Icons needed by digikam should be in digikam i believe. Do other ibkdcraw users need them? Achim have you remove them from ubuntu package? (i did) >> The latter is po files, again do we need localization for the library? > Settings widgets has a lots of string to translate... Here again, does libkdcraw has widget? why? i thoutght it was a simple dcraw interface library, but i understand i'm wrong. Anyway these things make two different major versions of libkdcraw harder to stay together....
