Hi,
After installing the latest kubuntu I seem to be stuck with the breeze theme in kubuntu. What happened to all the other themes? A dark breeze I could (barely) live with, but all this whiteness is to much... That's not the same case.. First of all I use kubuntu and as such I do use the kde system settings. Then my system uses breeze dark. Digikam is all whiteness. No dark settings to be seen. Only default and Breeze which seem to be the same. The configuration doesn't do a thing. And last but not least, unless things have more changed than I understand for now, digikam used to have a whole list of possible themes which were, or at least seemed, independent of the kde theme's. So, still.. where did all those theme's go? Especially the dark ones... Breeze is KF5 theme, not KDE4. Plasma 5 is now default desktop for
Kubuntu, as i read. Plasma 5 is not the best choice for the moment. It have several regressions against KDE4. I recommend to use KDE4 desktop for production until Plasma and KF5 are finalized... Only after I clicked an application theme under "Application Color Scheme" in the system settings, it suddenly starts to show up in the list inside Digikam too. The "configuration" under theme's in digikam still doesn't do anything though. > > After installing the latest kubuntu I seem to be stuck with the breeze > > theme in kubuntu. But honestly, Plasma5 is not yet ready for production for a while, as i tested it here... At least for one year...
