Hi there,
having heard of all the new features in the upcoming kde4 version of digikam, I decided to give it a try and have a look at the current svn version. I followed the instructions on http://www.digikam.org/?q=download/svn, with -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/opt/kde4 replaced by -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/lib/kde4 since I am on a kubuntu system. First I compiled and installed the libs, which worked fine. But when I run cmake in the graphics folder, I get a message telling me that various libs (libkipi, libkdcraw, libkexiv2, libkdepimlibs) are missing and therefore, digikam will not be compiled. Hmm, didn't I just install most of these libs by compiling and installing their svn versions? Moreover, compiling and installing the svn kde3 version works fine, but that is probably unrelated. Could someone here please tell me how to work around this problem? Many thanks, and best regards, Gandalf _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Gandalf,
Are you compiled and installed all KDE4 shared libs (libkdcraw, libkipi, libkexiv2, etc...) from trunk/extragear/libs, which include also all kipi-plugins ? About libkdepimlibs and libmarblewidget, install the right developement packages before. take a look in README file for details.
