initial layout of the save as dialog

Hi,

I'm somewhat confused about the initial layout of the save as dialog,
eg. in showfoto but also in the image editor:

http://disc.semipol.de/saveas.png

This seems like wasting space needed the folder view. Is this already known?

...but sizehint() re-implementation exist. So i suspect a problem with
KFileDialog which use preview widget as well :

The question is : it's KDELibs problem ?

Note : In kipi-plugins, we have a little bit different version of
image dialog, but preview widget use the same way :

Looks like one of these QSplitter problems. So I don't think we can do
anything about it.
