import tags

Thomas Bensler
Hi there,

I just switched from Win to Kubuntu. On Win I used IMatch for managing
my images. It supports something like tags which is called categories
there. Categories assigned to an image are not stored inside the image
file itself. The mapping of images and categories can be exported as one
large xml file.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to import this information into
digikam? Is there some kind of scripting facility in digikam useful for
my purpose?

Thanks in advance!

Thomas.
