I only find a list of icons to choose from and the ability to remove the toolbar however I could do this, but only system wide in the kde control center thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Not obvious at all there was a menu there :-( thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Your toolbar may be locked but there is a option to unlock it there to. JDD,
I do know what you use as linux box, which distro exactly, but it sound like an uncomplete or broken KDE packaging or something like that. You report a lots of basic questions... It's not a critic here (:=))), but perhaps you need to reinstall all from scratch... You report a lots of basic questions... basic but no so, as nobody had the real solution... but the discussion allowed me to find what happen. * in the right clic toolbar menu, you can have "lock your toolbar". If this option is activated, the icon choice is not visible (for me, locked was only related to the floating toolbar setup) * unlock it and the icon menu is available and this have nothing to do with the digikam logo. I beg I had unlocked the menu at some point when doing my tests :-) so it was essentially a problem with the meaning of "locked" sorry disturbing and thanks all for your help. jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

You report a lots of basic questions... I'm sorry to say, my OpenSuse 11.2 has been full of small annoyances from the very beginning - actually RC1 was less prone to these than what followed. Already updated to KDE 4.3.4 which solved many problems, but still had to make many adjustments (crawling forums) to make things work. It's a shame, I really liked OpenSuse (10.3 was productive)...
