icc profiles

Hello All
I am experimenting with digikam 0.9.2 as it seems to be the best linux
photo digital workflow by all accounts. However, there is one thing that
I simply cannot figure out. After clicking Enable Colour Management in
the settings no icc profiles are available and I cannot find any
information on whether they should be or not (e.g. a profile for the
workspace). Do I need to obtain them from somewhere, and if so where? I
have searched the web, I have read the help file, but cannot find any
information on this. Could anybody help me with this (I am running
digikam under gnome) - it has me very perplexed!

You can find many ICC profiles here:

http://www.eci.org/eci/en/060_downloads.php

It is possible to download also from Adobe.

You might also be able to extract the color profiles from the software that
came with your camera and copy them to use with Digikam. Gilles' profiles are
easier to get, and work fine.
