When sending an image to agencies and stock, I need only the
individual tags, not the whole tag hierarchy, to be the IPTC keyword. For example, if i select only toronto, ontario, and canada in this hierarchy: places/canada/ontario/toronto .. I want 'toronto', 'ontario', and 'canada' to appear as individual IPTC keywords. Is there currently a way to do this?? If not, I'll enter a feature request. When I use digikam now, a lot of editing of IPTC keywords outside digikam is required before submitting images. I could abandon hierarchical tags in digikam, but I don't want to do that as they are useful for organization. Since digiKam 0.10.0 (KDE4) support XMP, we have a dedicated namespace to host Tags Path. By this way iptc only store tags names as keywords, like you want. But it's not implemented in digiKam for KDE3, because it doesn't support XMP (and there is no plan to do it) Best Gilles Caulier > > > Thanks > Lawrence > > > > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-users mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users > Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

For the moment, yes. please open a whish in bugzilla to digiKam/metadata component if you want to see something like that implemented.
