Do I need to build with debug?

I must be doing something wrong. It only outputs:

I couldn't find debug for exiv2 either. in debugfull, a lots of messages are printed in the console. It slowdown all.
Also, debug symbols are embeded in compiled binary. I take more memory to run and slowdown again application.
