Hi everyone,
I'm sorry for being this lame, but I'm still having trouble with entering gps data into my pictures. I've started using panoramio and it would be much better to geo-tag pictures locally and then exporting them to panoramio. (http://www.panoramio.com/user/31977 if you're curious) Or the other way around - when I geo-tag them in panoramio, I'd like to get that geo info (not yet possible in panoramio) and put it in my master picture file. What I'm asking is to have editable GPS tags :) Keep up the excelent work - digikam is getting better and better. (see eg.: http://www.digikam.org/?q=node/104) I think it should do in principle what you want. Is it still in SVN repository only? But this is really cool :) m. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Is it still in > SVN repository only? kipi-plugins, libkipi and exiv2. I compiled everything ok like described in the web page and this trunk version of digikam works well. everything compiled fine. the problem is that the gpssync kipi plugin doesn't appear in the list (!!). It is compiled and installed correctly: pjlv@archon ~ $ ls -l /usr/local/digikam-trunk/lib/kde3/kipiplugin_gpssync.* ... Dec 19 21:29 /usr/local/digikam-trunk/lib/kde3/kipiplugin_gpssync.la ... Dec 19 21:29 /usr/local/digikam-trunk/lib/kde3/kipiplugin_gpssync.so pjlv@archon ~ $ but it doesn't seem to be enabled in digikam... any help? is there a compilation switch to enable it? Thanks again and sorry for being lame. Now the "kipi plugin for geolocalise pictures" is enabled but the metadata dialogs for GPS keep showing grayed...
