finding true duplicates?

I discovered that unfortunately "find duplicates" seems to be misnamed: it
doesn't really find duplicates, but rather finds near-duplicates. Is there
any setting one can change that allows digikam to find honest-to-goodness
true duplicates with the "find duplicates" function? I couldn't find any
way to control what digikam regards as a duplicate :-(

I'm using 64-bit 0.10.0 on KDE 4.2.4 (Kubuntu jaunty).

Yes, use digiKam-1.0.0-betaX, I implemented some new features like threshold
settings:
