Hello,
I was trying to set local environment for local testing using readme.local file.But when using the following command: KDESYCOCA="/var/tmp/kde-$USER/ksycoca4" kbuildsycoca4 I get the foll. error: kbuildsycoca4 running... kbuildsycoca4(3773) KConfigGroup::readXdgListEntry: List entry MimeType in "plasma-wallpaper-image.desktop" is not compliant with XDG standard (missing trailing semicolon). kbuildsycoca4(3773) KConfigGroup::readXdgListEntry: List entry Categories in "/usr/share/applications/im-switch.desktop" is not compliant with XDG standard (missing trailing semicolon). I already seen this error message. It's due to bad registration of data written in shared .desktop files. I already fixed some desktop files from digiKam in the past. But in your case, i think you can ignore these errors, if env start properly, else, this want mean that your KDE need to be updated. I sure that .desktop file have been fixed. Also, are you sure the command failed? I mean, when you execute your local digiKam, is it missing some plugins?
