I was a bit puzzled when I just wanted to use the editor and found that
menu items like "Enhance", "Color", "Decorate" and "Effects" don't
provide any options. What could be the reason?
If you have it then backup and remove this file and try again: ~/.local/share/kxmlgui5/digikam/digikamimagewindowui.rc

Just to be clear. ~/ is in your home directory and not in your root system directory if that's not obvious. :)
