editing geolocation for multiple images

Luca Ferrari
Hi all,
running 5.5 I'm having troubles editing the geolocation for multiple
images at once. I select all the images, then Item -> Edit
Geolocation, than select all images again in the list of files in the
dialog window, insert latitude and longitude, click on apply and then
the general apply. The result is that only one image (the last) is
updated.
Using the map sidebar does not allow me to edit coordinates while all
images are selected.
What am I missing in order to place all coordinates at once?

Thanks,
Luca

The solution I found is the following:
1) apply geolocation coordinates to one image, then in the dialog
window right click on the image in the image list and "copy
coordinates"
2) select all the images in the thumbnail album view and Item->edit
geolocation again
3) select all the images in the dialog window list of images and right click
4) paste coordinates
5) apply

I think this is a little too complex workflow, I don't see why I
cannot merge all the points in one selecting from the beginning the
images in the dialog window and applying coordinates to all.
Anyway, the above of course produces also an I/O peak.
