Hi,
Gilles asked me to write a text for the 0.9.2. release announcement... So below is a draft - comments are welcome! (Gerhard: if you are back, you can take over from here! ;-) Concerning the topics from the NEWS.0.9.2 file: this is a personal selection: feel free to suggest further ones (or topics which should be removed). The links are meant for the Web page, not for the submission on the mailing lists. Should it also be mentioned that libkexiv2 and libkdcraw have to be installed first? (I tend to no ;-) Achim, is the statement with the kubuntu packages ok (or should it better be removed - so that you don't feel pressurized ;-)?) In addition to various bug-fixes and improvements, several new features have been added. Ah forget to said than you can add just a little information about DigikamImagePlugins package whitch has been merged to digiKam. It do not exist anymore...
