digikam-like application for Windows

Florian Lindner
Hello,
I use digikam for my foto collection and I really like it.
Now I'm looking for a similiar application for my father. The problem is that
he is using Windows and I'm not able to convince him to Linux. :-(
Since I rarely use Windows I don't know so much about the applications
available. Does anyone of you know a free (cost free or - even better - free
software) application like digikam for Windows. I doesn't need to something
sophisticated, I doesn't even need image manipulation support, just like
digikam. Just two requirements:

- The album hierarchy should be the same like the physical location of the
pictures. (albums map to folders)

- It should support hierarchical albums (an album has sub-albums)

Thanks for your help,

Florian

Hi Florian,

the only windows photo management application that i knew of is picasa.
But i don't know the features, so you'll have to try it out by your own.

Already tried it out. It's good, but not support hierarchical folders.
